Regulated Canadian Immigration Consultants (RCIC) are professionals authorized to represent their clients in communications with Immigration, Refugees, and Citizenship Canada (IRCC), Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA), and the Immigration and Refugee Board of Canada (IRB).
To become an RCIC, your consultant had to pass a difficult qualification process, which consisted of a formal academic degree in immigration, proof of good character, an English language skills test, a financial and criminal records check, and an exam in immigration law administered by the regulatory body – Immigration Consultants of Canada Regulatory Council (ICCRC).
All immigration consultants belonging to the ICCRC must regularly complete Continuing Education professional education requirements to maintain their knowledge and good standing membership.
You can use the ICCRC website to verify membership and good standing. Link to ICCRC and then click on ‘Find an Immigration Professional’ and then enter RCIC # 526291 to confirm the good standing of Robert F. Dykstra.
